Division 1 - Here We Come!

CF91Team_10_2

On Wednesday, Feb 3 2010, Crossfire Premier G91 A players signed with their respective schools on National Letter of Intent Day. This was a special day for this team and this club. EVERY 2010 graduate on this team signed with a Division 1 NCAA school. This is an extremely talented squad that has amassed an incredible 236 wins in 339 games since their 2002 season. Many of these girls have been with this team from the beginning, and as a group since 2002 they have scored 1000 goals while allowing only 225, and have earned 187 shut-outs.

So far, they have earned five Washington State Championship titles, two Region IV Championship titles plus a finalist finish, a USL National title and placed fifth in the most recent US Youth Soccer National Championship. The February 3 signing is something to be very proud of indeed. Congratulations, girls!

Opportunity For New Players!

Ever wonder what it would be like to play at the highest level of U-18 competition in the country? Crossfire Premier G91 A is seeking additional players who are interested in sharpening their skills in preparation for college play. This team is not satisfied with the status quo, and is committed to continuous improvement as a team and as individual players, through both disciplined preparation and through competition with the top teams in the state, Region IV and the USA.

Our participation in both the Washington State League and the Far West Regional League this winter is a testament to that commitment. The payoff for this extra work and national-level games will be players ready to immediately compete at the collegiate D-1 level.

We welcome all interested players to contact Coach McCormick for more information.

About our program

star8
Top-notch coaching and training. Head coach Dick McCormick and Peter Hattrup know how to teach soccer players to take their game to the highest level possible. Their records speak for themselves. Under McCormick's tenure, the '91s have earned four of their five state championships and a regional championship with a combined goals margin of 744-155 and 126 shut-outs. Hattrup guided the '91s to a national title in 2006 and a state championship in 2007. Since these girls started playing select soccer, they have amassed an incredible 226-58-39 record, scoring 970 goals while yielding only 214 goals, and earning 181 shut-outs.

Exposure to top collegiate soccer programs. The GU18 soccer season is important for continued on-field exposure to college coaches, as well as preparation for college play. Through our team's scheduled national-level venues, players on Crossfire Premier G91 A get seen by the top college programs in the US.

Access to professional command media Through our dedicated network of team and club support staff, players on this team will have access to the best marketing and media materials youth soccer has to offer to help them promote their capabilities to college programs.

We are continuing to build on a solid foundation of success as five-time state champions, 2004 GU12 and 2009 GU17 Region IV champions, 2006 GU14 USL National Champions, 2007 GU15 Region IV finalists and Surf Cup Finalists. We are consistently ranked as one of the top teams in the U.S. For the 2009 season, our goal is to take this success one level further - continued success on the national stage, and solid preparation for these girls' continued success in the next chapter of their soccer careers - whether that's at a top-tier soccer program in the country, a competitive college soccer program, or just for continued fun and enjoyment playing the game they love.
