Crossfire Semi-Finalist At Starfire

Tukwila, WA - Crossfire Premier '91 McCormick lost a hard-fought battle to NWN '90 Allegra this morning in a semi-final game of the Starfire Tuneup Tournament, 0-2. Both teams played hard the entire way. Neither team scored in the first half, but Allegra connected two times in the second period to earn the W and move on to the finals - congratulations, Allegra! Crossfire Premier '91 McCormick advanced to the semi-finals by beating the Vancouver Whippets, Legacy '90 and FWU Reign '90 Purple.

Crossfire played balanced team soccer in this early season tournament with 12 different players scoring. In their four games, Crossfire recorded a 31-2 goals margin in going 3-1, and now turns its attention to a national tournament at their age level - the Coast2Coast Classic.
