Pleasanton, CA - Crossfire Premier '91 won their bracket but lost their quarter-final game to the eventual tournament champs, Slammers FC, finishing with a 2-1-1 record in the 2003 Pleasanton tournament. Crossfire won their bracket by beating DeAnza Force 2-0, beating Central Marin Magic 3-2, and tieing Mustang Spirit 0-0, before losing 0-4 to the Slammers. Slammers advanced to the finals and beat Mustang Spirit 4-0 to earn their title. Congrats and thanks to all teams for the great competition!
With the summer tournament season now over, Crossfire Premier '91 turns its attention to the fall league and their season opener this Saturday. They will travel to Spokane to play Spokane Shadow '90 Sky.Crossfire Tunes Up At Bigfoot

Snohomish, WA - Crossfire Premier '91 added a tune up tournament to their schedule this week, in preparation for the upcoming Pleasanton tourney. They entered the Big Foot tournament in Snohomish as a GU-13 team and played well in three tough games, finishing 1-1-1. They lost their opener to host team Snohomish United '90, 1-3, came back to tie FC Aanvallen '90 1-1, and finished the tournament with a 3-1 win over NK '90 Ambush. Crossfire demonstrated a balanced scoring attack in the series, with five different girls each scoring a goal. Redmond, WA - Crossfire Premier '91-McCormick defended their crown today in winning their second successive Crossfire Seattle Challenge soccer tournament. In the finals matchup, Crossfire prevailed against a tough and determined Crossfire Premier '91-Percell. Congratulations, Crossfire-Percell for the great game and for your well deserved medal!
Crossfire McCormick made it to the championship game by beating Marauders '91-Drazic in the semi finals game the night before, in what was a rematch of last season's State Cup final. In that one, Crossfire scored two goals quickly in the first several minutes before giving up a goal to the Marauders. With a 2-1 lead, Crossfire came back immediately and scored their third, and later in the half got two more to take a 5-1 lead at the midway mark. Crossfire tacked on three more in the second half to advance to the championship game. Congratulations to Marauders-Drazic for the hard-fought and well-played game.
In the qualifying round Crossfire beat Shooting Stars '91, FCA Blue '91 and Phoenix '91. For the tournament, Crossfire had a 48-1 goals margin. They now gear up for the Pleasanton tournament in California over Labor Day weekend and are looking forward to the competition from around the region.
