Crossfire Premier Prevails 2-0

Redmond, WA - Crossfire Premier won a hard-fought battle against an outstanding FC Talons '90 squad this afternoon, 2-0. The contest featured many outstanding individual efforts and teamwork, both offensively and defensively, by both teams, for a full 60 minutes. Crossfire scored midway in the first half and carried that slim 1-0 margin into the second period. Time after time, Crossfire's defense stepped it up when they needed to in the second half to prevent the powerful FC Talons from scoring. Crossfire added an insurance goal with two minutes left in the game to take the contest. Crossfire Premier's record goes to 4-0 in this early part of league play, but it's clear that the level of competition throughout this bracket means a full season of evenly matched and fun-to-watch soccer games. Thank you FC Talons for the well-played game.

Crossfire took on a tough Cascade Select team Saturday and prevailed 4-1. The young Crossfire squad scored early enroute to a 3-0 lead at the halfway mark. Cascade Select scored midway through the second period before Crossfire got one more to end the game with the W.

Crossfire McCormick prevailed 2-1 over Crossfire Otagaki on a beautiful late summer day for soccer. McCormick's team scored early and added another goal later in the period to make it 2-0 at half. The tough Otagaki squad came out fired up in the second half and made it 2-1 midway through the period. McCormick's team hung on the rest of the way to earn a 2-0 record early in the league's young season. All league games by all teams have been close thus far - promising a whole season of tough match-ups. It should be fun and challenging.

Crossfire Starts League Play With A Win

Federal Way, WA - Crossfire Premier started the 2002-2003 league play season with a 1-0 win over a tough home town Reign '90 White squad. The game remained scoreless until about the midway mark of the second period, when Crossfire connected. It was a battle the entire way and both teams can be proud of how they played.
