Crossfire Takes Norpoint 2-1

Tacoma, WA - Crossfire Premier came off their bye week as if they hadn't skipped a beat - dominating much of the game enroute to a 2-1 win over league contender Norpoint. Crossfire had their passing game in high gear today, including a beautiful combination scoring play off a corner kick early in the game to make it 1-0.
Norpoint snuck a goal in towards the end of the first half to make it 1-1. Crossfire took control of the ball for much of the second half, with several shots on goal before connecting with about 10 minutes left to make it 2-1. The Crossfire defense then picked it up the rest of the way - with some game saving take-aways down the stretch on this gray, damp, and slippery field day.
Crossfire, FCA Heat Tie

Redmond, WA - Crossfire Premier and FCA Heat tied 3-3 last Saturday. It was a physical matchup, and after trailing 0-1 early, Crossfire got its offensive machine cranked up - scoring three goals to make it 3-1 at the half-way mark. FCA Heat came out fired up in the second half while Crossfire failed to connect on numerous scoring opportunities. FCA Heat tied the game with two minutes remaining. Crossfire has a bye this upcoming weekend before returning to league play with a game against Norpoint on Oct. 26. With the tie, Crossfire's record goes to 4-1-1 and they remain in 1st place by a slim margin.
Crossfire Loses To Eastside 0-1

Bellevue, WA - Crossfire Premier-McCormick lost their first game of the season 0-1 to a tough Eastside FC White squad on Saturday. Eastside's lone goal came midway through the first period. Crossfire had many shots on goal, particularly in the second period, but were unable to connect. Congratulations to a fine Eastside squad for their win!
