Crossfire Takes Norpoint 2-1
Oct 26, 2002
Tacoma, WA - Crossfire Premier came off their bye week as if they hadn't skipped a beat - dominating much of the game enroute to a 2-1 win over league contender Norpoint. Crossfire had their passing game in high gear today, including a beautiful combination scoring play off a corner kick early in the game to make it 1-0.
Norpoint snuck a goal in towards the end of the first half to make it 1-1. Crossfire took control of the ball for much of the second half, with several shots on goal before connecting with about 10 minutes left to make it 2-1. The Crossfire defense then picked it up the rest of the way - with some game saving take-aways down the stretch on this gray, damp, and slippery field day.Crossfire Loses To Eastside 0-1
